I have two Pentair 5Gs that I’ll be installing soon in our new pool. I see conflicting info here about NEC 680 and requirements for a J-box when using 12-volt lights. Can someone clear that up for me? It would seem that you would bond the niche to the bond loop and then just run the conduit right into the transformer - another connection is just another point of failure. Perhaps I’m making this too simple?
