Pmm quartz with polymer modified cement vs regular

in the process of choosing a new finish for our soon to be completed pool. We were initially going to go with a darker Shade blue like Barbados blue from Npt Quartzscape, but decided against due to risk of mottling. Would prefer not spending extra for the mini pebbles although we fell in love witht the tropics blue mini from NPT. So we are thinking of going with marbletite Pmm Marquis which is a modified polymer cement. I think it's similar to diamond Brite. i wonder if anyone could...
