Brass Pipe Connection

I need to reroute the pool light conduit up to a new junction box on a retaining wall closer to the pool. The light conduit from the wet niche is good 1/2 inch ID brass pipe. I need to cut into it where it is still below water level in the pool. I will drain the pool down, but I need to make a water tight connection with the brass pipe for making the new run up to the junction box.
